Nestled in the woods on the campus of the Franciscan Sisters of the Sacred Heart in Frankfort, IL, a southwest suburb of Chicago, is a ministry filled with serendipity. WoodSong Music Ministries, a not-for-profit corporation, is a dream come true for Sr. Kathleen Hook, OSF, and Joy Sloan, Certified Vibrational Sound Practitioner. Their hope is to provide people with spiritual enrichment and healing through music and sacred sound. With gifts of spirituality, music and creativity, they birth experiences that are intended to “lift the hearts of all and move them to spiritual gladness” (St. Francis of Assisi).
